Maximum Temperature and Latitude

This graph illustrates that the closer an area is to zero degrees latitude, the higher the temperature. Of note is the variation of temperatures between the north and south hemisphere. Initially, it appears that the process of randomly generating latitude and longitude led to cities in the northern hemisphere to be overrepresented. However, one should consider there are more inhabited lands and more people in the northern hemisphere.
